Suur Munamägi is the highest point of Estonia, my home country. Shame on me, but I had never visited it until I was 25 years old. Better late than never, however, so we visited it on April 4th, 2004 (good date to remember :-)).

A foot trail embarks from the road and leads one to the peak.

There's an observation tower on the top, which is closed in two months every year - April and October. Of course, it had to be April when we visited the place.

Way down proved rather difficult without special boots as the trail was fully covered with ice.

Typical Estonian spring, it is April but one can still see snow everywhere.
