Suur Munamägi is the highest point of Estonia, my home country. Shame on me,
but I had never visited it until I was 25 years old. Better late than never,
however, so we visited it on April 4th, 2004 (good date to remember :-)).

A foot trail embarks from the road and leads one to the peak. |
There's an observation tower on the top, which is closed in two months every year - April and October. Of course, it had to be April when we visited the place. |
Way down proved rather difficult without special boots as the trail was fully covered with ice. |
Typical Estonian spring, it is April but one can still see snow everywhere. |
