The Pinnacle Highpoint

[Summit team: Targo, Katrin, Liisa, Toomas, Oliver]
Harney Peak is the highest peak between Rocky Mountains and the Pyrenees in Europe. You can take either trail #4 or trail #9 from Sylvan lake, they both have signs at places that point to the highpoint. Or you can use one of them on the way up and another on the way down, just as we did.

Here are the instructions to the trailheads from I-90 East:
1. At Moorcroft, Wyoming take exit 154 to US-16 South.
2.  Follow US-16 for about 85 miles to Custer, SD.
3.  Continue onto US-16 Alt / SR-89 for 0.7 miles.
4. Turn left onto SR-89, Go 6 miles to SR-87
5. Turn right onto SR-87. Shortly you should see Sylvan Lake. Turn left to the Sylvan Day Use Area. Keep right to the parking lot.
